It’s been a long, arduous road with a kazillion corrections and redesigns on the way. But we did it. Whew. Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences’ brand spanking new website and refined, modern look has officially debuted.
We are inaugurating several delicious new programs in Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay like: Santiago Street Food; Tremendous Terroir, four days of serious wine exploration in Mendoza; a full day culinary tour in Buenos Aires’ markets, butchers, bakeries, and cooking in a private home; and exploring the off-the-beaten-path destination of Uruguay, just a short hop from BA, in Tannat 101. We also are collaborating with favorite eco-hotels to far-flung destinations like Patagonia and San Pedro de Atacama.
The website is designed to total eye candy and ignite travel fever in our clients and readers. I am proud to say that 95% of the 200+ images of original photography and graphic design were all shot by my husband, and business partner, Francisco Ramírez, who also is responsible for the design of the site.
Make sure to check out the multimedia section; there’s a lot happening there. From Anthony Bourdain’s show on Chile airing next month to the Eat Wine Guides and cookbook I am currently writing. In fact, even this blog got a new look–a preview of what’s to come very soon.
We also are launching our monthly Eat Wine newsletter today. Written in the voice of this blog, each month I explore South America’s terroir with a specific valley and varietal–then break it out into wine recs and food pairings readily available in North America. The idea is get you all drinking lots of great South American wines and connecting with the culture here–through your glass.
Thanks to all for your support and readership. Salud!
