Liz Caskey Culinary & Wine Experiences (hereafter called ‘LCCWE’), takes the privacy of your personal information very seriously. Below is our privacy policy that applies to www.lizcaskey.com (referred to as the ‘Site’ as the owner). This website is meant for people over 18 years of age. By using this site or communicating via phone or email with LCCWE, you are accepting the privacy practices outlined in this policy.

Information Collection & Use

When you browse our site anonymously, personal information is not collected as you browse. LCCWE does employ “cookies” though during your visit with us. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer’s hard drive when you visit the Site. Collecting this information helps us streamline your experience on our Site. Most web browsers provide information on how you can elect not to allow cookies to be collected. We also collect information such as the server your computer is logged onto, browser type, and whether your entered via another website or an email hyperlink.

Our website uses Google Analytics for metrics on visitors and how they browse the site. Google Analytics also uses “cookies” to collect standard internet log info in an anonymous form. This information about the use of the website is transmitted to Google and used for compiling statistics and metrics to measure website performance and activity.

We collect no personal information about you, unless you sign-up willingly for our e-mail list or submit your personal information via the contact request form for our team to get in touch.

IP Addresses

LCCWE collects the IP addresses used to access our sites and times of access. This information is utilized to study trends, administer the site, track users’ movements, and gather demographic information that can be used to improve to both improve the user experience and also in our targeted marketing.

Online Sign-ups, Commenting, and Services

In order to provide you with additional information on our services, we provide a Contact Request form on our site where you voluntarily supply your personal information and details of your trip or reason for outreaching. If you are commenting on our online Journal (‘Blog’), you will be prompted to login to leave a comment where you will need to register your name first to leave the comment.

If during your navigation, you decide to sign-up via one our pop-ups or banners to our mailing list, you will voluntarily need to supply your name and email in order to be registered to the list. By signing up for the list, you are giving consent to share your contact information and be contacted by us with our ongoing e-newsletter and other e-communications. All emails come directly from LCCWE. You can opt out at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email. When we send an email, we do track information on if the email was opened and if any clicks to hyperlinks were made to analyze the performance of that communication and measure response rate.

LCCWE never shares your emails with any third parties nor our business partners nor suppliers. However, we may send you offers or information on collaborations on behalf of our business partners. If you take advantage of an offer and wish to sign-up for their mailing list, they may send emails to you independently which are not related to LCCWE. In this case, if you wish to stop receiving emails, you need to decline or unsubscribe directly with them.

Contests & Online Surveys

When you enter a contest or any other promotional feature on our Site, we may ask for your personal information so that we can administer the contest and notify winners. Participation in any contest LCCWE offers is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose personal information.

We often ask our mailing list for opinions through surveys, which we greatly value. In conducting these surveys, we may ask for your personal information so that we can appropriately identify you. Survey and the information provided may be used to improve our Site and services and by submitting your response to the survey, you are in agreement with this use.

This entire Site including our Journal and Podcast are copyrighted by law and represent the exclusive intellectual property of LCCWE, both text and original photography. In the case a photo is not original of LCCWE, the proper credit is assigned in the photo’s watermark and proper permission already has been confirmed. No part of this Site is allowed to be copied nor reused—audio, text, photography, or brand names of company and podcast.
