Sven’s passion for agriculture took him to California where he developed an interest in viticulture that led him around the world, to Australia, and then back to Chile. Even though Sven was a winemaker, the entrepreneurial itch to make his own hit, and he found the perfect hill in western Colchagua. As he moved into the industry as a small, independent producer, he suddenly found himself on the outside looking in. So decided to create his own community: the Movement of Independent Vintners (MOVI). Today Sven’s produces not only award-winning Syrah, but he’s committed to lead the way in doing good and giving back through what he loves–wine.
