Romancing Colombia

There’s simply “something” about Colombia. It’s a country with a magnetic blend of robust rhythms where the cadence of the people and life is so alive and palatable. Now in its fifth edition, this is a curated immersion into a country whose time, clearly, has come—dynamic, soulful, and impossible to ignore.

The journey begins in Bogotá, the country’s high-altitude capital where colonial facades meet an avant-garde renaissance with a new generation of chefs, roasters, and designers redefining the city’s identity. Behind the buzz visit artisan ateliers, emerging fashion houses, the markets, and Bogotá’s evolving café culture, where coffee tasting rivals wine in nuance and narrative.

From Bogotá, fly north to land in Cartagena the Caribbean jewel where romance and history coalesce within 16th-century walls. Ayyy, que romantico! The city’s pastel-hued streets feels as if it’s straight out of a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel. Here, the mélange of colorful city squares, vibrant markets, colonial architecture, and epic ceviche and mojitos will make you swoon.

Colorful palenqueras expertly balance tropical fruit on their heads. While in town, join a local chef for a private cooking lesson in Colombia’s Caribbean cuisine, learn to salsa with the maestros, learn the art of crafting cocktails, sail for a day out to the paradisiacal Rosario Islands to bask in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Perhaps the best part of Colombia? The Colombian people. Their resilience, warmth, and joy is so palatable it will leave you glowing for months after you return.
