Hi Liz,

Congratulations on the new guide. I love food and wine guides to places I visit. Perhaps I'll be able to visit your city in 2010 and use it.

I have a question for you about a supposedly Chilean sandwich I used to eat here in NYC about twenty years ago. There was a place on Lexington Avenue called Lomito owned by Chileans. Their signature sandwich, the lomito, was some amazing roast pork with avocado on what they called Chilean bread. It was so delicious, but alas they closed. The question I have for you is whether that actually is a specialty sandwich of Chile? And if it is, is it widely sold in Santiago?

Good luck with the guide and happy holidays.

Ellen
NYC

PS Sorry I missed you when you were here.
