This is perfect timing - we are going to Puerto Natales/Torres del Paine for a long weekend next month. I would love to stay at Indigo, but sadly I think our money is better spent elsewhere, so it's nice to hear that the restaurant will give us a bit of the same experience. Thanks for the datos!

I was fortunate to spend a week in Puerto Natales last February and loved it. Vegetarian food was plentiful, and due to the proximity to Torre del Paine, a wide range of affordable hostels and hotels are available. Besides hiking in the park, I spent the week kayaking, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, boat excusions and visiting sloth caves. Plenty to keep busy, but yet the pace is very relaxing at the same time. I would go back in a heartbeat!

It's a great place. Worth the schlep to get there. I would go just to eat at Afrigonia and savor fresh king crab, sooo good. And not bad views of the Torres del Paine either...
